Film Location: ‘Notting Hill’ (1999)

Julia Roberts & Hugh Grant in ‘Notting Hill’ (1999)

Notting Hill in West London was used as the filming location for the 1999 romantic comedy of the same name.

With a script from Richard Curtis, we see the lives of divorced bookshop owner William (Hugh Grant) and famous American actress Anna (Julia Roberts), as their lives become intertwined.

Along the famous Portobello Road, number 142 was used as the travel bookshop in the film, where William and Anna first meet;

  1. I wandered the streets of Notting Hill last October and it was so cool to see all those movie spots. ❤
